First, it is for being aware of the balance cut for different services. Secondly, it is for knowing if their balance is sufficient to use any services while going somewhere (traveling). For general people, you may need to prepare recharge cards at some places, as it hard to find it everywhere. But for tech nerds, they can easily top up anywhere using their bank account or other third party apps like eSewa, iPay, Khalti. Nepal Telecom has got GSM, CDMA mobile services all around the country.  Here are the processes to query/check balance NTC mobile.

Query balance in NTC GSM (Namaste prepaid and postpaid)

To query/check the balance in GSM Namaste mobile,

  • you need to dial *400# in your mobile. Then after running the command, you will get the balance in your prepaid phone. The same applies to a postpaid phone which will provide the due amount and the available credit.

From  customer care center number,

  • you need to dial 1415. First, select the preferred language by dialing 1 or 2. Then press 1 to find the balance in prepaid and postpaid. There are other applications of this number like recharge, complaint, first call activation, supplementary services, SIM lost, PUK number.

From SMS means, you can check the balance by

  • sending bl to 1415 in Prepaid
  • sending CB to 1415 in Postpaid.

Query Balance in NTC CDMA Sky (Prepaid and postpaid)

If you have Ntc CDMA Sky, then you can also query/check balance

  • by dialing 1415.
  • Do remember, there is no such *400# in CDMA.

For checking balance through SMS, it is the same as that of GSM for CDMA sky SIM which is by

  • sending bl to 1415 in Prepaid
  • sending CB to 1415 in postpaid.
