“Android Smartphones”, the term that in itself has to be a pandora’s box. With several brands and plentiful models in the market, it’s one hell of a task for any smartphone company to break in and reach the masses. Well, to say the least, one such brand that has made its place amongst our lifestyle has to be Huawei. All thanks to the Nova lineup of devices, and especially the Nova 3 and Nova 3i that sold like hotcakes; to put it into numbers more than 2000 units were sold on a single day.

These lite-flagship devices garnered Huawei lots of love and appreciation and it’s not just because of the design that was well appreciated and loved by the masses, but both of these devices received software upgrades as they run on Android 9 Pie currently. Both the Nova 3 and 3i have passed the test of time and have aged quite well. Be it with regards to the camera, performance or the overall build and design, both devices have maintained their dignity amongst their users.

The successor to the Nova 3 and 3i — the Nova 4 didn’t receive that much attention. If you seek for the reasons why? The answer is simple, nobody changes their smartphone within the span of a year or so, especially the lite-flagship users get hooked up to their Nova 3 so much so that the Nova 4 slid under the radar. But there are Nova 4 users who are happy with their devices and carry it around in their pockets as their daily drivers.

Why you should wait for the Huawei Nova 5T

It’s about time now that the Nova lineup gets a new successor, a better one in general. That’s where the Huawei Nova 5T comes in to bridge the gap between flagships and your pocket. A flagship-grade smartphone at not so flagship price range, the signature for the previous Nova devices. Launching on September 22, the Huawei Nova 5T has some great features and also to name few. Let’s get into the five fine features that you can witness on the all-new Huawei Nova 5T.

The Quad Cameras

HUAWEI nova 5T’s four, rear-mounted AI cameras capture stunning high-definition, ultra wide-angle, macro and bokeh photography. The cameras also create next-level videos. Rich, clear images and videos from vast landscapes to breathtaking close-ups. Powerful photo / video algorithms help you get colourful, high-resolution images and videos anytime and anywhere.

Apart from the classy looking iconic Huawei glass sandwich design with some amazing paint schemes, the first one on the list, a better and upgraded quad-camera setup, with a 48MP f/1.8 primary along with 16MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera alongside a dedicated 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor.

Secondly, the Kirin 980 SoC that the Nova 5T runs on, it is a flagship chipset seen on the much more expensive flagships like the Mate 20 Pro and the P30 Pro as well. Third, comes the storage; 128GBonboardstorage backed by 8GB of RAM to keep things running smooth.

A side-mounted Fast and Accurate Fingerprint Scanner

Fourth comes to the side-mounted fingerprint scanner which is fast and accurate and at an organic position where our thumbs do naturally rest.

The Battery

Fifth and the last one has to be the battery, just like its predecessors, the Nova 5T [with 3,750mAh battery] will definitely last your entire day of usage and it charges via the 22.5Watt charger that juices the device up to 50% in just 24 minutes. I can’t add the sixth one as of now, but the pricing will be interesting for sure.
